The Master is associated to the Institute for Condensed Matter Physics at UAM (IFIMAC) and to the Catedra UAM-Fujitsu for Scientific Computing and Big Data. Students of both specializations with high academic standards can apply for grants funded by these institutions. Calls for these grants are usually open in September and advertised at the News section in the left menu of the main web page. Calls for the course 2016-2017 can be consulted here for IFIMAC grants, and here for UAM-Fujitsu grants.
The Universidad Autonoma de Madrid launches an annual call for postgraduate studies covering a yearly tuition and a monthly allowance.
The Spanish Ministry of Education (MECD) provides funding for candidates who wish to collaborate in research activities while studying an official degree during the academic course. The call applies also to master students. The information can be found in the call available at the UAM webpage.
